Richard A. Fowler Jr., a.k.a. Ricky, was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. He holds a B.A. in character design and animation, an A.S. in interactive multimedia, and considers himself an ever-evolving student of many disciplines and art forms. His artistic efforts have predominately been concentrated in the field of animation (traditional/digital 2D character animation), comic style illustration, graphic arts and design, as well as digital music composition.

Ricky has always had a talent for drawing. Even while learning to walk as a child, he began developing his drawing skills. Some of his artistic memories date back to pre-school days, as he would illustrate Ninja Turtles for the teacher to distribute to classmates for coloring. As a young boy, Ricky would often sit and watch TV on Saturday mornings while designing his own characters with elaborate story lines and imaginary worlds, meanwhile dreaming of the day he would be able to share his creations with the world.

Today Ricky is a master at bringing his imagination to life; both commercially and creatively, as his works are highly influenced by Disney style animation, and comic book character design and layout. With the rapid growth of mainstream gaming media, Ricky also added those influences to his design foundation.

Apart from his artistic accomplishments, Ricky is a talented digital music composer. Utilizing Acid Pro, FL Studio, Reason, and Audition, he has become well- versed in the creation and composition of powerful instrumentals. His work has been published as listening music, animation themes, and website audio tracks.
